Robert Duffy, a co-founding shareholder of the firm, concentrates his practice on complex business litigation, including trade regulation, broker/customer disputes, securities litigation, shareholder litigation, probate and trust litigation, intellectual property, patent and technology litigation, executive employment, fraud and construction law.

Work for Clients
As a trial lawyer, Bob has handled hundreds of commercial cases in diverse practice areas including antitrust, transportation, probate and trust, insurance, contract, intellectual property and securities litigation. He has successfully tried, arbitrated and/or settled pension and breach-of-contract disputes on behalf of senior executives and business owners; prosecuted and defended individuals and corporations in antitrust and construction actions through trial; successfully recovered millions of dollars from brokers and broker/dealers on behalf of customers; and routinely represents minority shareholders in disputes involving emerging technologies and manufacturing. He has counseled numerous corporations and minority shareholders in breach of fiduciary duty and dissolution cases.

Bob has been retained by and regularly represents communication companies, domestic and international manufacturers, banks, securities brokers, real estate development companies as well as commercial real estate brokers, senior executives, business owners, trustees and wealthy individuals.

Bob has appeared on behalf of clients in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Maryland and California.
