Christine Bush, a partner of the firm, concentrates her practice in the area of complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. She focuses on copyright, patent, trade secret, unfair competition, trademark/trade dress, products liability and shareholder litigation.

Work for Clients
Ms. Bush has been retained by and regularly represents domestic and international manufacturing companies, financial institutions, construction companies, computer software and hardware companies, business owners and individuals in a variety of complex commercial litigation. Ms. Bush has successfully negotiated, litigated and tried matters involving copyrights, patents, unfair competition and covenants not to compete. She has successfully represented local and national manufacturers in trademark, trade dress and breach of contract claims concerning intellectual property issues. Ms. Bush has significant experience representing shareholders of closely held corporations in breach of fiduciary duty and dissolution matters.

Professional Activities and Honors
Ms. Bush has been listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers for the last four years. She serves as a board member for the Providence Children's Museum, where she is active on the Membership Committee. She also serves as a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association - Rhode Island Chapter. Ms. Bush was recognized as one of the "40 Under Forty" by Providence Business News, based on criteria that included career success, community involvement and commitment to making a difference.

Papers and Presentations
Ms. Bush spoke as a panelist for the 2002 Annual Meeting of the Rhode Island Bar Association on the role and purpose of letters of intent for business transactions. She addressed litigation considerations and risks at a firm-sponsored program entitled “Protecting Your Intellectual Property Using Non-Compete Agreements.”
