ATTORNEYS - Kimberly A. Tracey

Practice Areas

Kimberly A. Tracey practices in the firm's litigation group. Prior to joining Duffy Sweeney & Scott, Ms. Tracey served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael A. Silverstein. She researched and wrote draft decisions and memoranda involving complex business transactions, secured transactions, receiverships, and contracts.

Professional Activities
In 2007, she co-authored an article entitled "Still a Frightening Unknown: Achieving A Constitutional Balance between Civil Liberties and National Security During the War on Terror" with the Honorable Chief Justice Frank J. Williams of the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

She is a member of the American Inns of Court, the Providence Preservation Society, and co-chair of the Roger Williams Law Alumni Golf Tournament that benefits the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Education
Ms. Tracey received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Vermont in Political Science/Asian Studies and minor in Chinese in 2003.

She received her law degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law in 2007 where she served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review. She received the CALI Award for the highest grade in Legal Methods II (writing and research).

She also attended the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.

Bar and Court Admissions
Ms. Tracey is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island (2008) and New York (2008). She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
