As a founding and continuing sponsor of the Bryant University New Venture Competition, Duffy & Sweeney again was represented on the panel of judges assessing market potential, team dynamics/experience, and product growth/potential to award up to $30K in cash prizes.
The competition generated more than 20 outstanding entries this year with six teams selected as finalists. Winnings of $20k went to Clique, an all-natural beverage dispensing machine providing healthy drinks for consumers on the go, with second place going to the “Raina to the Rescue!” series of instructional storybooks and activities that follow a girl and her friends in their endeavors as animal rescuers. The winner in the student category was Winsulate, a provider of low cost, sustainable window alternatives for commercial and residential facilities experiencing energy losses.
