D&S attorneys and professional staff gathered on December 7, 2021 to share their  gift-wrapping skills and contributions to families in need.

In the spirit of the season, the team took a break from a busy year-end to adopt two families from the Woonsocket Adopt-A-Family program, fulfilling the wish lists of five children, ages 2 to 11 years old.

Adopt-A-Family, Inc. was started by a group of volunteers  to anonymously match people in the community (donors) with families in Woonsocket (recipients) who are struggling financially.

The donors provide each child’s entire Christmas, based on the  wish lists provided by the parents. Donors then shop for the specific items, including toys, outerwear, sports equipment and more.

The attorneys and staff at Duffy & Sweeney are deeply committed to both civic and charitable activities where they work and live. Duffy & Sweeney’s GIVING BACK initiative runs throughout the year.
